How to Throw Away Your Anger.

الحمد لله ربّ العلمين
الصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى أصحابه أجمعين

After very long time did not write something in English, today I'll try to write something about anger in this not-be-updated blog. I'll write this essay according to my opinion and experience.

When a person was asking from Rasulullah for a wasiah (advice), Rasulullah said :

"لا تغضب" (Don't be angry!)

That person was thinking that Rasulullah said something unrelated to his request. Because of that he was asking that same question again and still Rasulullah answered the same answer. After that, he repeated it again and Rasulullah also repeated that same answer, "Don't be angry!".

At that time, he knew that what Rasulullah said was the advice to him.

From the story we know that in Islam, muslims are advised to do not be anger. Islam as the only universal religion taught everything for happiness of humanity as it is also solution for humanity. As it universality, it taught about how to communicate with parents, how to eat and how to excrete after you eating, how to drink and how to urinate after you drinking, how to wear your shoes and how to release it and etc. Included in it's teachings is how to release your anger.

Before I explain to you how Islam teach their followers in releasing anger, better for me to write about reason of this teaching. First reason : there is no rational in your mind while you got angry. For example, someone can kill another persons because he angry and after that he realized that he killed the others and he regret. By stopping anger, it prevent you from shaming yourselves. Second reason : if you  got angry, your heart will beating faster and not accordingly rather than while normal situation. This will lead you to get heart problem and heart attack.

Next, I'll first talk about my experience how to release anger before I go to what Islam taught more than 1400 years ago. OK I'll proceed. Before this -about 2-3 years ago- I was an easy-to-get-angry person. After moving sometimes, I met some friend who told me about the disadvantages of anger and they told me that I at that time was like a volcano that very easy to explode. I felt shame of my attitude. I found some way to make it decrease constantly by I failed.

Last few week, I just realized that I've made it! I was joining a program and I was one of two persons who should take care about participant's ibadah and discipline. In that program, in a slot, I should act like I am a strict committee who scold the participants so that they know their fault. But, unlucky, I failed to scold. Why? I asked myself.

Without realizing it, now I understand what changed me. It is smile and happiness. I remember that before this I was not too-friendly person. That was the reason I easily got angry. Nowadays, my life changed compared to 2-3 years ago. I always forced myself to smile at anytime. I always find something that can help  me to get happiness. For example, when sometime I'm moody, I buy an ice cream as a source of happiness. So, I created a formula name Anger-Release Formula : Unhappiness will cause you to get angry easily. Happiness will help you control your anger.

So, make sure your every second, you are smiling and be happy.

On the other hand, anger also caused by your sins and Satan. If you are a sinner, Satan will easily envenom you to get angry. Satan happy if you are in anger because anger is source of disunity that is wrong in Islam. Islam is religion of unity. So, go far from sins. Seek forgiveness from Allah now.

No, I bring to you the solution from Islam :

1. Recite :

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

( I seek refuge with God from Satan the accursed)
  
2. Recite :

اللهمّ ربّي اغفر لي ذنبي وأذهب غيظ قلبي وأجر ني من مضلّات الفتن

(O Allah, forgive me my sin and my heart and make me far from things that can make me being led astray)

3. If you are standing when you got angry, you should sit. If you are sitting, lie down you body on the floor so that you will be humble.

4. Shut up your mouth.

[ According to Hadis narrated by Ahmad ]

For conclusion, this four ways are very easy for you to be practiced if you combine my formula together with this 4 ways.

My Anger-Release Formula + Islamic Solution = You'll not get angry easily. =)

    so..i found that i cant understand in the phrases copied above. explanation please.

    addiition, with my poor english..after some..it is okay to put 's at the word of 'way'?

    i guest it brings plural meaning..^^

  2. maksudnya saya menemui beberapa cara untuk menurunkannya secara berterusan tetapi saya gagal.

    i'd took 5 to see the mistaken.haha--->apakah?

    some tu saya tertukar dengan any kot...kalau any jadi singular...akan diedit.
